I'm Matt, and my passion for gardening and arboriculture has fuelled my journey in this field for the past 15 years. It all began during my school holidays when I worked with my dad's small gardening company, learning the essentials of garden maintenance. Embracing the outdoor work and physical challenges, I ventured into arboriculture, honing my skills as a groundsman and mastering the use of chainsaws and hedge trimmers.

My love for gardening blossomed further when I moved to New Zealand, encountering the vast possibilities of the sub-tropical climate. Growing my own plants, particularly chillies, filled me with joy, and now I nurture over 30 tropical fruit plants and a range of herbs and berries. After some valuable life experiences, including a year in the cheffing world, I decided to return to my roots and founded Pommy-Green.

At Pommy-Green, we take pride in providing top-notch garden care services with a sustainable approach. Emphasising environmental consciousness, we use battery-powered tools where possible to reduce noise and air pollution. I am delighted to witness the overwhelming support from our customers, and I relish the opportunity to instill excitement about gardens and ensure excellent service through my connections in the arboricultural industry.
